Fire up those 20’s. By now you may have noticed that the 20 peso bill has a new look. The Bank of Mexico has put out a new bill that still features legendary
Mexican president Benito Juarez. But, the new bill is made from a more resistant material, and
it highlights the Monte Alban
archaeological site. It also features Juarez’s most famous sentence “respect for the rights of others is peace”. The city of La Paz (“the peace”) is named after
this famous phrase.
