QUE PASA?...

dos. Spokeperson Avril of Tijuana said that the group was a Tijuana chapter of the notorios U.S. based Animal Liberation Front orginazation, well known for their bold and radical methods used to wage war on animal abuse. The crusaders
are complaining that large panthers and tigers are confined day and night to small cages, often parked out in the broiling summer sun. The Barney circus hooks up these cages to a
24truck and tows the terrified animals through the noisy streets of Rosarito, in order to attract the attention of tourists. These exotic creatures
are often harassed by street dogs as they are paraded
through town. Avril also mentioned that their group deminstrates outside of the Tijuana and Playas bullrings.
Rumor of the Week. The Fox movie lot, famous as the spot where the “Titanic”
and the “Master and Commander” movies were filmed, made headlines recently when a public announcement was made
that the Fox studios lot had been sold to developers.
Now, according to the latest rumor, the famous Fox studio lot may not become home to a bunch of boring condos after all. Instead, the whisperers say, the property may be turned into an amusement park.
Gimmie a Break. Kids and adults at Rosarito’s municipal
swimming pool are given a choice of snacks for sale: chips, nuts, candies, junk, and more junk! Not a banana or piece of fruit in sight! Sports facilities are for getting in shape, aren’t they?
